Autumn Housing Market is Strong18th October 2016
More people are looking to buy houses across Cumbria to move in time for Christmas.
Richard Stronach, a Director of H&H King responds to claims that nationally it is now a seller’s market, with the average price of a property rising by £2,623 compared with September.
“I would agree that there has been a slight increase in the number of purchasers coming to the market”.
“This in turn increases the number of interested parties in a property which of course raises the volume and amount of the offers coming in, hence we get increased asking prices”.
“The market continues to be fairly strong with the autumn always being one of the best times to achieve a sale, especially for those wanting to be in for Christmas”.
“Mortgage rates continue to be low, making money cheap to borrow.”
